Frequency-induced negative magnetic susceptibility in epoxy/magnetite nanocomposites

نویسندگان

چکیده

Abstract The epoxy/magnetite nanocomposites express superparamagnetism under a static or low-frequency electromagnetic field. At the microwave frequency, said X-band, reveal an unexpected diamagnetism. To explain intriguing phenomenon, we revisit Debye relaxation law with memory effect. magnetization vector of magnetite is unable to synchronize rapidly changing magnetic field, and it contributes diamagnetism, negative susceptibility for nanoparticles. model just developed fitting result can not only be used experimental data in X-band but also estimate transition frequency between paramagnetism

frequency dependency of magnetic susceptibility in sp magnetite grains

using a magnetic property measurement system (mpms), we measure magnetic susceptibility continuously at frequencies from 0 to 1000 hz for three different superparamagnetic (sp) grain sizes of magnetite (5nm, 7 nm and 10 nm) suspended in hydrocarbons (ferrofluids). our results confirm non-zero values of frequency-dependent susceptibility in the fine tail of nano-sized grains and provide new empi...

Hydrophilic high-luminescent magnetic nanocomposites.

In this study, hydrophilic high-luminescent magnetic nanocomposites (LMNCs) composed of both fluorescent clusters (quantum dots, QDs) and magnetic nanoparticles were synthesized. The nanocomposites exhibited high luminescence and were easily separated in an external magnetic field. The LMNCs were capped with streptavidin (SA), and the SA on the surface of LMNC-SA composites was confirmed to be ...

Magnetic coupling in boron-rich NeFeB nanocomposites

In this article, we report types of magnetic domain patterns caused by either dipolar coupling or exchange coupling inside a heat-treated boron-rich NdFeB melt-spun ribbon. The average grain size of the sample was about 38 nm. Single particle domains were commonly observed in Fresnel images all through the specimen, suggesting little exchange coupling among the grains in these regions. Snake-sh...
